Seats will be reserved until capacity is reached: 100 participants total. You will receive a Zoom link to the event beforehand (a day or two before the event).  We recommend that you add this to your calendar or flag the email, so you can find it quickly when you want to connect.

'Sunnylands – Hidden Treasures and Archival Insights'

A discussion with director Janice Lyle, curator Anne Rowe, and archivist Frank Lopez

Our next Preservation Session via Zoom will be on Tuesday, November 10 at 5 pm, and you won’t want to miss it!  Director Janice Lyle, curator Anne Rowe, and archivist Frank Lopez will talk about their early experiences at Sunnylands–before the estate was opened to the public and surprises since then. They will share with us how they created a fascinating narrative for Sunnylands by sorting through the Annenbergs’ vast collection of papers, memorabilia, and objects, deciding what to keep and what to throw out. The team had a huge task on their hands, with a deadline attached. And they never knew what treasures or surprising finds they might discover along the way.

Join us at 5 pm, we’ll introduce the panel, and you’ll be able to ask questions directly following the discussion.

Book your free spot – one per device, not per person – by clicking on this link: preservation-mirage-donate.square.site/sessions
